West Chiltington Golf Club Ladies Section

Our Ladies section meets on a Tuesday with some of our members playing on our alternate day a Saturday. Medal, Stablefords and various team competitions are held during the year including some fun competitions. After our special events like our Spring, Autumn and Christmas competitions we all sit down and enjoy a meal together followed by prize giving. Our championship is held in June with the Captain’s day in August this year. We hope to help celebrate the Jubilee and Olympics with some fun competitions during 2012.

We have several friendly matches against local clubs and try and encourage higher handicap players to enter these along with the more experienced players for support. We take part in various competitions run by the Sussex County Ladies Golf Association also entering a team in division 2 and division 3. Our Division 3 team won the trophy in 2010.

We welcome new lady members who would like to join us.

Golfing Buddies

The ladies section of West Chiltington Golf Club have introduced a new scheme for those ladies who may not be currently playing in the ladies competitions or have a handicap. 

This is designed to allow such ladies to get involved and gain a handicap which ultimately will allow them to join in all the competitions which run throughout the year. 

So if you currently do not have a handicap and would like one simply enter your details in the form below and we will get in contact with you regarding a golfing buddy and further information on how to gain an active handicap with us. 

9 Hole Competition

The ladies section are introducing a new 9 hole competition which would run at the same time as the ladies competitions on the main course. 

If there is enough interest in this event, this will be a regular competition which will be designed to start at 11am on Tuesday mornings which will mean that all ladies competitions on Tuesdays will finish at the same time and therefore prize giving will be carried out in the clubhouse for both competitions simultaneously.
